Ignatian spirituality is deeply rooted in everyday life—a spirituality that seeks to find “God in All Things.” By noticing the movements of God in his own heart, Ignatius of Loyola found his true purpose, and a religious order: the Jesuits. As fellow pilgrims, we seek to notice where God is found in our own lives. Spiritual direction means attending to the stirrings within the heart—whether of consolation or desolation—to see where God is calling us.

In spiritual direction, the goal is the journey—noticing the particular Divine calling in each person’s individual and deeply sacred life. Regular spiritual direction provides a safe space in which the soul can be known, where you can journey with a friend who is there to learn your language for God, not to impose their own. Tending our spirituality changes us, and in turn our lives, and in turn the world — a world that is in great need of positive change. If you are interested in learning more, please set up a meeting with one of us.

Costs for ongoing spiritual direction vary according to the needs of the person seeking direction, duration of direction, and other variables. Initial consultations are free, and cost of ongoing direction can be discussed with individual directors. Cost, however, should never deter someone seeking direction, and most directors have a sliding scale and will work with you regardless of your financial situation.

We’d love to listen.

Fall in Love

Attributed to Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ (1907-1991)

Nothing is more practical than
finding God, than
falling in Love
in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.
